Spot the difference

How more stupid can I get?
No, it's not one repeat shorter - just in case you were going to count them.
It's the wrong f...ing needle size !!!
I am trying hard to get over it - wanted so much to get this out of the way - I feel like throwing the whole thing in the box again - FOR EVER.

As upsetting as this must be, have you thought of salvaging it by using the different length as a feature? I've seen a few asymmetrical sweaters and cardigans recently, although I can't remember the source. If I'm not mistaken, Sally Melville books have some, but I'm sure I've seen patterns more recent that that.

If you frog it and get it back on the right sized needles, you will have a lovely sweater in a beautiful green, and it will take you a lot less time than you can even imagine. This to shall pass... Really.

What a shame! It really is pretty so once you have it redone it is going to be worth it! Take a deep breath...and this is totally something that I would do!

Time to Rippit! But it will be well worth the effort, its a beautiful sweater.

thank you, thank you, thank you for all the suport. I feel better today - I've calmed down a bit - :) it looks like this cardi likes it to be on the needles for ever.
First I thought about doing it as asymmetrical, then I decided to do it again on the right needle then I decided to block it to the right lengh...and still deciding:)...

Oh, Sylvia--I am so sorry. Can you not block it out? It is so very pretty.

And thank you for the complimenet on my Black Widow shawl!

Have you blocked it at all yet? I would at least try to block it to the right size, and really soak it beforehand, not just squirt water on it. Then block the parts on top of each other in order to have the same size. Good luck! Don't give up!

Did you frog it? I've knitted great swathes of aran sweater before now and the discovered a bug just above the rib, the only way I can be happy with it is to rippit, just pull it off the needles and do it. It's so annoying and frustrating but what else can you do.
